WA Custom Glass is a locally owned and operated company that offers services to the entire Perth Metro Area. We aim to bring our clients the highest quality glass products and customer service in the industry.

Jason Windows has been supplying quality products to the WA building industry for over 50 years. The company pioneered the introduction of aluminium windows and doors in WA in the early 1960s and has continued to be the benchmark for product design, strength, and service ever since. WA’s leading builders specify Jason Windows in their homes with many entrusting their window and door supply, installation, and service exclusively to Jason for decades.

The following is the approximate production time for your requested item.

Your production time will begin from the completion of an accurate measure AND the deposit being received by WA Custom Glass. All times are subject to change based on work load and unforeseen issues with suppliers.

Q: I have my own windows are you able to install them for me?

A: WA Custom Glass only installs products manufactured by Jason Windows. If you have a window that was supplied direct from Jason Windows we can attend site to view the project but cannot guarantee the item can be installed. If we do install an owner supplied item we hold not responsibility for damage or faults to the item.

Q: Are you able to colour match to the rest of my household windows and doors

A: Jason Windows offer a wide range of powder coat colours. If your existing windows are in a nonstandard colour we can match the colour to the best of our ability at an additional cost. If your existing frame colours is no longer in circulation a colour match may not be possible.

Q: Will the doors match the rest of my household locks?

A: If the remainder of the house features Jason Window Door sets then yes, we can match the lock type. However, we cannot match locks from other suppliers. This is to be done by the owner after installation.

Q: Are you able to put a security screen onto my existing door?

A: We do not provide retro fits of security screens onto existing products. We recommend contacting Jason Windows direct and speaking with their security screen technicians.

Q: I want to limit the amount of heat coming through the window, is there something that can do this?

A: Jason Window products feature a range of glass types supplied by Viridian Glass. This includes tinted and obscure glass along with a full spectrum of Performance Glass to help with heat & UV reduction.

Q: I want to reduce the noise but I don't want double glazing, is there any other options?

A: Jason Window products feature a range of glass types supplied by Viridian Glass. This includes a full spectrum of Performance Glass to help with noise reduction.

Q: What warranty do the products have? What is the installation warranty?

A: All products manufactured by Jason Windows have a 10-year quality guarantee. We match this guarantee for installation quality of the product.

Q: I need to construction work done for the new windows, is this a service you provide?

A: Through a trusted third party sub-contractor we now offer a construction works such as brick and concrete cutting, lintel installation, plastering and structural support as part of our package. Please note we do not offer any finishing trades such as painting or flooring in our services.

Q: Do you do insurance work?

A: We are happy to perform for insurance purposes. However, all payment must be made through the client, not the insurance provider.

Q: What is the turnaround time?

A: The lead time for standard Jason Windows products is approximately three weeks from deposit to installation. Additional items such as security screens, performance glass, commercial framing or non-standard frame colours can extend the time line. Jason Windows is also subject to alter these manufacturing times based on their availability and factory production.

Q: I Live close to the ocean, what options do you provide?

A: By using your address as an order guide we can check all building codes and specifications for marine grade frames and powder coating to make sure your products are durable and reliable.

Q: Will I be left with the old products to dispose?

A: Part of our standard service is the removal and disposal of existing frames. If the frames are removed by yourself or a third party before our installation the quote will be adjusted accordingly.

Q: What happens if the weather is not suitable for installation?

A: If weather looks unsuitable for the installation to continue our qualified glazier will discuss the option of continue or postponing installation. Please note that our tradesman will take their own safety as well as the safety of your home into consideration. They do have final say on site. If installation is postponed you will scheduled for our next available installation appointment.

Q: Can I view the products in your showroom?

A: We do have some small samples of standard Jason Windows products in our showroom TO view the full range of items including glass type we recommend visiting the Jason Windows Showroom in Welshpool or Home Base Subiaco.

Q: Are you able to enclose my alfresco area?

A: Alfresco Enclosures are one of our most popular requests. Before confirming what products are required or what construction work may be necessary to complete the job we would like to complete an official measure and quote on site with one of our qualified glaziers.

Q: What is the difference between commercial and residential framing?

A: The largest difference between commercial and residential framing is the physical thickness of the frame. Thicker commercial framing is used for larger openings or where thicker glass or double-glazing is required because the frame can handle a greater deal of weight. Unless specifically requesting a certain frame type your quote will be provided with the frame to meet Australian Standards.
